The Certificate in Law Enforcement Management focuses on the development of managerial skills for law enforcement, corrections, and other professionals in the field of criminal justice. Persons employed in the criminal justice field who wish to expand their credentials can prepare to assume administrative and advocacy position in the criminal justice profession. Study is concentrated on local, state, and federal law enforcement and the role within society of the criminal justice system. Enrollment is available to criminal justice majors, qualified non-majors in related fields, and practitioners in the field of criminal justice.
This certificate is awarded to students who complete the required courses with an accumulated grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Andrew Jackson University coursework completed to meet the requirements of a previously-awarded certificate may be applied toward this certificate. No more than 50% of the certificate program can be earned through transfer credit or credit-by-examination. Credit awarded for experiential learning is not applicable to a certificate program. |
